These terms form an agreement between you and PicyFood. By creating an account or using the app, you accept them.

By downloading, creating an account on, or using PicyFood, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

PicyFood is free to use. Premium unlocks AI Kitchen and image nutrition analysis.
Premium subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand. The price and period are shown to you before you confirm the purchase.
Cancel at any time. You keep Premium until the end of the period you have already paid for; we do not pro-rate partial periods.
We may change subscription prices. Existing subscribers will be told at least [30 days] before a change takes effect, and may cancel before it applies.

AI Kitchen generates recipes automatically. They are not reviewed by a chef, a nutritionist or any human before you see them.
Automatically generated recipes may contain incorrect quantities, unsafe cooking times or temperatures, unsuitable ingredient combinations, or may omit an allergen. You are responsible for judging whether a recipe is safe to cook and safe for you to eat.
Before cooking anything from PicyFood — generated or from our library — you must:
PicyFood does not provide medical, dietary or nutritional advice. If you have a food allergy, an intolerance, a medical condition, are pregnant, or are cooking for someone who is, consult a qualified professional. Do not use this app as a substitute for that advice.
Dietary tags such as "vegan", "gluten free" or "nut free" are supplied with our recipe data or inferred automatically. They may be incomplete or wrong. Verify them yourself.
Calories, protein, fat and carbohydrate figures are estimates. They are derived from recipe data or generated automatically, and will vary with your ingredients, brands, portion sizes and preparation. They are offered as a rough guide and must not be relied on for medical purposes, including managing diabetes or any other condition where accurate intake matters.

You keep ownership of what you create — your favourites, meal plans, shopping lists, prompts and any photographs you upload.
You grant us a limited licence to store and process that content solely to operate the app for you: saving it, syncing it across your devices, and sending prompts or images to our AI provider to produce the result you asked for. We do not use your content for advertising and we do not sell it.
You confirm you have the right to submit anything you upload.
The PicyFood name, logo, app, design and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. These terms give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your own non-commercial purposes.
Recipes in our library originate from third-party sources and remain the property of their respective owners. They are provided for personal use only. [Confirm you hold the necessary rights or licences for the recipe dataset you have imported. This is the single most likely source of a rights complaint.]
We aim to keep PicyFood available and working, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features at any time. We may perform maintenance that makes the app temporarily unavailable.
Some features depend on third parties — payment processing, sign-in, AI generation. If those are unavailable, the features that rely on them will be too.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PicyFood is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, loss of profit, or loss of data arising from your use of the app.
Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the app is limited to the greater of [the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim] or [amount].
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
You may stop using PicyFood and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the service.
On termination your licence ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive — intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law — continue to apply.

Your use of the app is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. Refunds for purchases made through Google Play are governed by Google's policies.
These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], and disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [jurisdiction]. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
We may update these terms. When we make a material change we will update the date above and notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use PicyFood after that means you accept the updated terms.
